Have you noticed something in the air today? There's a bounce in our steps. Our burdens seem lighter. It feels like a new day. The 21st DAY of the 21st YEAR of the 21st CENTURY, to be precise! No wonder. (And doubtless the 46th has a hand in this, too.) While we're riffing on this number, we remembered Mr. Bowie saying of his alter ego's genesis, “We were creating the 21st century in 1971.” Cue NATALIE HOPE MCDONALD and one of her most inspired pieces in our current show.
